General information

Huqsvarna started to use breech loading guns 1877 and rebounding locks as late as 1881, and generally 2 1/2” chambers until 1937 (serial number 165700).

Husqvarna called Henry Jones Screw “system Anglais”

 

Underlever models

Husqvarna was early very fond of Casimir Lefaucheux action, and used well into the 1950.

This model was made 1900 to 1942. Between 1912 to 1942 totally 2200 made in 12ga, 850 in 16ga and few in 20ga. 75 cm Barrels of Damaskus Steel 1900 to 1908, 75 cm steel barrels 1909-1942. Lefaucheux system, 11 cm long lock plates.

This model was made 1877 to 1889. Barrels of Damaskus Steel - 73 to 75 cm length. Lefaucheux system, 11 cm long lock plates, connection between lock plate and action has a small angle. 12ga and 16 ga.

This model was made 1900 to 1942, between 1912-1942 totally 8900 made in 12ga, 900 in 16ga and few in 20ga. Barrels of Damaskus Steel. Lefaucheux system, 11 cm long lock plates.

This model was made 1884 to 1930, between 1912-1930 totally 50 was made. Before 1930 this model had no engraving. A m/17 as cape gun with one 16 or 20ga smooth bore barrel, and one 20, 24 or 26ga rifled barrel.

1200 of this model was made 1891 to 1942, between 1912-1942 totally 1200 was made. A m/17 as cape gun with one 16 or 20ga smooth bore barrel, and one 12,7x44R rifled barrel.

17C
1000 of this model was made 1891 to 1942, between 1912-1942 totally 1000 was made.. A m/17 as cape gun with one 16 or 20ga smooth bore barrel, and one 9,3x57R/360 rifled barrel.

This model was made 1901 to 1946, totally 45 to 50 000 made. 75cm barrels of Swedish Steel. Lefaucheux system, 11 cm long lock plates. 12, 16 or 20ga.

This model was made 1943 2100 was made. English stock, otherwise same as m/20.

This model was made 1944 to 1956, approx. 28 000 was made in 12ga, a small number in 16ga. 75cm barrels of Swedish Steel later Special Steel.
